If I do not have a credit card, can I still engage in online shopping?

Quicklee has a company credit card that is used to conduct online transactions on behalf of our customers.

Do I have to purchase online in order to ship with Quicklee?

No, once you have a shipment anywhere in the US, you can have it dropped off or send it to our warehouse. Please note that if this method is being used, packages should be labeled with your name and the address of the warehouse.

What size package can I receive through Quicklee?

Packages of any size can be shipped. However, for large items please contact us for a quote before doing so.

Is there anything that I cannot receive through my Quicklee Account?

Actually, yes. Items that are deemed as hazardous and are not allowed within the island will be put on hold at our Warehouse and will not be sent to Jamaica. Please examine the list of prohibited items here.

Does Quicklee provide pick-up service in Miami?

Yes. We can pick-up packages from the relevant personnel in Miami and have the package shipped to Jamaica. However, there is a service charge for this service which varies on the distance. Please contact us for quote.

Why did the declared value of my package change?

Jamaica Customs reserves the right to assess and levy duties and taxes based on their valuation of the item and it is at the discretion of the Inspecting Officer.

WILL I NEED TO PAY DUTIES ON PACKAGES AND PURCHASES?

If your item’s declared value (Invoice Total including shipping), is over $50.00 USD, then Jamaica Customs will inspect and levy the applicable duties and taxes as they see fit.

ARE ALL IMPORTS PACKAGES ARE OPENED? AND WHY?

Jamaica Customs reserves the right to inspect any package entering the island at any port.These items are inspected, and duties and taxes applied due to the Tariff Codes.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE ALREADY ORDERED A RESTRICTED ITEM?

If the item has shipped from our Florida Warehouse and arrived in Jamaica, it will potentially be seized by Jamaica Customs and destroyed. In some cases, you may discuss with Jamaica Customs the possibility of obtaining a permit to allow the clearance of the item. For Further information, please feel free to contact our office.
